Accounting Manager Position at Motorola Solutions

  • Monthly/quarterly balance sheet review with regional accounting manager
  • Improve balance sheet health and enhance reconciliation quality
  • Closing accounts for Colombia, issue resolution, and review/submit late entries
  • Annual Audit participation/financial statements
  • Prepare tax calculations and analyses
  • Offer accounting guidance to business/finance for current operations
  • Analysis of financial report fluctuations for the assigned region
  • Ensure compliance with various reports (Supersociedades, Chamber of Commerce, Magnetic media, etc.)
  • Manage Compensation Accounts
  • Understanding of all balance accounts (Fixed assets, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Payroll)
  • Meet governmental requirements and statutory audits
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage cash flow
  • Support projects on new business/processes

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Google tools
  • International background preferred
  • Technical proficiency in major ERP systems with preference for Oracle
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Self-starter with a proactive learning approach and ability to identify/suggest process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with professionalism towards coworkers, management, and customers
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

This role requires some office days at Paralelo 108 (Highway #108-27)

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles or multinational companies
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, COLGAAP, and USGAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in tax knowledge
