About our client**Our client is an investment advisory firm specializing in M&A and debt advisory for PE funds and companies. The firm has a broad global footprint with offices in Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America. It is your chance to work alongside senior management in the origination and execution of infrastructure and energy transactions throughout the Latin American market. The position is based in Bogota, Colombia.

What the job involves

  • Play an active role in deal sourcing and execution of transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors in Latin America, with a focus on M&A, capital raising (debt & equity) and restructuring assignments.
  • Analyze and execute the due diligence of potential new transactions and businesses.
  • Participate in the identification, structuring, and negotiation of the transactions, with the support of our client's team in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Work closely with senior team members on all issues related to deal closing.
  • Play an active role in monitoring financial and operating factors of current transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior management in the negotiations to successfully execute transactions with target customers.
  • Help senior management to ensure a quality transaction process, from initial identification of opportunities through to due diligence, negotiations, and execution.

Who we are looking for

  • Solid years of experience in M&A, capital raising or investment advisory in the Latin American market; knowledge of the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, actuary sciences or similar field, master's degree is a plus.
  • Superior analytical and financial skills.
  • Impeccable communication skills; able to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal areas.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
