The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Administrator - Azure Operations to join our global IT infrastructure team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set in Azure operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Azure Cloud platforms.
  • Administer and manage the organization's Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and related services.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Exchange Online, and monitor the service including offtime, migrations, updates, and patching.
  • Install and manage software on Server Systems.
  • Provide Patching support for Windows and Linux Servers.
  • Manage Vendors for the installation of Team Rooms systems.
  • Provide support for Teams Room Systems and video conferencing.
  • Manage the security posture of Windows/Linux systems in accordance with Information Security's Guidelines.
  • Provision and manage Azure cloud resources.
  • Act as a Tier 3 resource for the Helpdesk.
Required Qualifications

  • You must be authorized to work in Colombia.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience administering Windows servers and Exchange.
  • Must have expert level systems administration background in Microsoft Azure hosted environments (Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and related services.)
  • System Administration in the following areas:
  • Patching
  • Troubleshooting
  • Cloud Provisioning
  • System Monitoring
  • Alert Management
  • Software Installation
  • This is a remote position for those individuals with a fast internet connection and an environment free of distractions. If you are in Medellin or Bogota you have the possibility of a hybrid working schedule.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of VDI systems
  • Microsoft Certifications in Azure are a big plus
  • Knowledge of Azure PaaS offerings and services
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Helpdesk experience
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to be on call or work weekends or nights
  • 10% Travel
