To support our ambitious growth plans, we're looking for a
Scrum Master to join our remote-first cross-functional tech team of engineers, and data scientists & ML specialists.
Your role will be to work closely with tech leadership to roll out the crucial organisational tooling which facilitates it — for internal stakeholders such as crawler engineers, annotators, regulatory analysts, and data scientists — and the customer-facing APIs which realise its value to paying customers & end-users.
Mandatory Pre-requisites:
- Must have their own laptop/desktop which meets minimum qualifications:
Processor
- Core i5 or higher, RAM
- 8GB or higher
- Bandwidth Requirements Minimum
- Download Speed: at least 6 Mbps;
Upload Speed:
at least 6 Mbps.
- Need to install an RMM, MDM, and EDR on their laptops to ensure we are compliant from a cybersecurity standpoint
- A quiet, private place in your home where you can work without background noise and without interruption.

- 12 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development projects, with evidence of increasing growth and responsibility
- Understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles
- A thorough understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition is required.
- Excellent project management, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning, and risk assessment abilities.
- Thorough understanding of project management methodology, tools, and techniques
- Ability to motivate, coach, counsel, and train developers.
Responsibilities:
- Handson project management and delivery of multiple complex projects at any given time in order to meet technology and business requirements on time.
- Schedules and facilitates scrum ceremonies and decisionmaking processes
- Providing Scrum team statistics, identifying solutions, team capacity, forecasts, burndowns/burnups, dashboards, and user stories.
- Provide strong leadership and accountability for the development and implementation of Project Management required to support business solutions, technical delivery, escalations, and impact assessment.
- Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress at weekly calls with management and stakeholders
- Foster a strong work environment that recognizes and rewards individual and team efforts; encourages creativity while maintaining high levels of productivity and quality; and reduces team conflict and communication issues.
- Demonstrates an attitude of team focus to accomplish overall project goals, and maintains a 'we're all in this together' approach.
