  • Supporting ACT member organisations, forums and COPs
  • Development and implementation of lobby/advocacy initiatives and measures on human rights issues
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Evaluating progress in the areas of lobbying/advocacy work, applying for funding and identifying potential for improvement by ACT member organisations
Your competences.
  • Relevant and task-related Master's degree
  • Practical experience in dialogue and mediation processes with various actors and in the analysis of conflicts
  • Sound knowledge of political discourses and fundamentalist religious currents, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Several years of experience in working with ecumenical organisations and networks
  • A high level of resilience and flexibility as well as a willingness to travel round off your profile
The project. As an international professional, you will use your expertise in advocacy, public relations and capacity building to strengthen the capacities of forums, communities of practice (CoPs) and their target groups and to advance the human rights agenda in Latin America and the Caribbean.
