About Chiper
Chiper is a technology startup present in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil.

The platform offers mass consumption products at direct prices from manufacturers to independent businesses such as neighborhood stores, liquor stores, mini markets, etc.

Our purpose is to create bridges between middle and low income people who are looking for better alternatives to buy their essential goods, their needs and opportunities of traditional and obsolete models with technology, always thinking about that end user and their alternatives.

Chiper was born as a project in 2018 and in 2019 was launched as a company.

About the rol


Success in this role means hunting and recruiting talent enabling Chiper to recruit bar-raises with a high quality of talent attraction and recruiting process (Bar Raisers), as well as ensuring most of them are good fits to the company and reach high performance within the 3 first months in the company.


In your role as Recruiting coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting bar-raises with a high quality of talent attraction and recruiting process (Bar Raisers) that ensures cultural fit and fast high performance from new entries in the company.


You will focus specifically on the areas of talent attraction and recruiting in order to execute, together with your team, the recruiting processes that are enablers of the local operation in accordance with the deadlines needed to maintain high level of productivity within local teams.

You will collaborate closely with each country's People Manager and Operational Leaders to ensure operational success for local teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead an internal recruitment team focused on rapidly finding barraisers to work at Chiper ensuring each are a proper fit to the company; receiving demands and adressing them properly within the team; generating local recruitment data in order to take datadriven decisions both locally and globally.
  • Execute Internal referral recruitment process allowing our employees to know about open vacancies and help us on filling them with bar raisers.
  • Partner closely with the management team and key leaders to set staffing plans across all functions locally while executing an aggressive, resultsoriented recruiting process and tools that help us to find great talent.
  • Establish control routines in order to make sure recruiting is being run under the process designed and that main KPI ́s are being properly reached. In case KPI ́s are not met, constant RCA and action plans must be executed until it is met.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional in Business, psychology or related studies
  • In the recruitment of talent for the technology vertical (key position), for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Certified experience of at least 2 years as a recruiter in preferably ecommerce technology companies.
  • Proven success in recruiting barraising talents
  • Have experience with teams throughout multiple offices or a distributed workforce.
  • Excellent at building strong relationships among the executive team and all team members within a tech/productdriven company.
  • Resultsoriented, setting and achieving aggressive goals that directly increase strategic value while holding all team members to the same high standard that's sustainable as we scale.
  • The people function as a core aspect of innovation constantly striving to improve, adjust, and integrate with recruiting and onboarding.
  • Excellent people manager and coach who develops talent personally and professionally.
  • Thrives in bringing order and crisp execution to the frenetic pace of marketdefining startups.
  • An employee advocate who always has the interests of employees foremost on the agenda.
  • Fluent in both Spanish, English & Portuguese (Desirable)
