Overview:
The Professional Services Ellucian Project Manager is responsible to deliver services in support of our Ellucian Experience solution and other solutions.
Where you will make an impact
- Ensures that projects are completed on time and according to corporate, client, or customer quality standards.
- Facilitates communications upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances, recommendations for major changes, and technical information (architecture, design, and implementation objectives).
- Serves as focal point for client and customers, and other departments on projects status and other project information.
- Organizes project through the development of a project plan, which includes communication of goals, as defined by the user, definition of project strategy, identification of the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, and development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of project resources.
- Ensures projects are completed according to specifications and are properly documented including implementation of the product, system or service satisfies the specifications, and product, system or service architecture and implementation is maintainable and extensible to accommodate future enhancements and maintenance.
- Ensures that documentation gets the appropriate level of technical and functional review support.
What you will bring
- 3+ years related work experience as Lead Programmer Analyst, Project Leader, or Supervisor in a Technology area.
- Experience in Complex ERP implementations a Project Manager Role.
- Certified in PMI or demonstrable experience using the methodology.
