Job Title: Staff Accountant - Latam
Location: Remote (EST Timezone)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (EST)

Job Description:

Being a Staff Accountant involves supporting financial operations with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities range from managing payables and receivables to maintaining financial reports and engaging with staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable:
    • Create new vendor profiles based on internal submissions.
    • Handle freight and supplier invoices.
    • Administer ACH setups and NACHA file configurations.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Perform customer credit assessments and establish new customer accounts.
    • Issue invoices and statements to customers.
    • Monitor payment status, oversee deposits, and manage credit issuances.
    • Produce financial reports that convey the company's current position and advancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational abilities and adept at handling multiple deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Operational experience with a comprehension of the goods business and sales cycle, enriching your capacity to link financial management to broader business goals.
