America Steel Trade Corporation is an international trading company headquartered in North Miami, Florida. AST specializes in sourcing, exporting/importing, and distributing commodities to the North, Central, and South American Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and update data related to sales, purchases, shipments, and inventory into our database with precision and accuracy.
  • Collect and input detailed material descriptions, destination ports, payment terms, and other relevant information necessary for operational processes.
  • Generate regular reports summarizing key performance indicators, including sales metrics, inventory levels, and shipment status.
  • Analyze data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights to the Operations Team for decisionmaking purposes.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical records of sales contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents, ensuring that all documentation is filed appropriately and easily accessible for reference and audit purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Operations Team to ensure seamless data flow and timely resolution of issues.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and shipping partners, to obtain or clarify data as needed.
  • Support team members by responding to inquiries and assisting with datarelated tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in a logistics, supply chain, or trading environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Salesforce, with advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in large datasets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Familiarity with steel trade industry terminology and processes is a plus.
