The Planning, Competitive Analysis & Insights (PCA&I) team is tasked with delivering data-driven insights to inform and influence the business decisions of Coca-Cola Latin America in order that we best serve our consumers.


As a Finance System Economics and Competitive Landscape, you will be responsible for providing guidance and insights in the area of Strategic Planning for the Finance function, which includes framing the messaging to our various stakeholders regarding our priorities and strategic plans as well as business performance against those plans.

Our stakeholders include cross-functional leaders across Latin America and at Corporate as well as our largest bottling partners.


In this role you will multiple internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage System Economics and Competitive Analysis and build alignment on key initiatives and metrics.

This position will be responsible for the coordination and management of a 6 people team.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Provide guidance and insights in the areas of System Economics and Competitive Analysis for the OU
  • Manage System Value Chain, P&L and Scenario Planning within the different teams, including:
Collect input, model, and provide insights for value chain analysis, system profitability

Scenario Planning Modelling, contingency

  • Perform Competitive Analysis including review of competitor pricing and performance, discuss implications and takeaways.
  • Analyze local macroeconomic trends and highlight relevance based on our business performance and context.
  • Provide holistic understanding of bottlers and competitors business performance inside the OU.
  • This position will work with the CFOs and Zones Finance Leads to design and implement Long Term Relationship Models with key LATAM Bottlers (Femsa, Arca) and serve as consultant in country specific business model negotiations with bottlers
  • Responsible for development, data integrity and reliability of System Economics tools and projection models

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; Master's Degree or related a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in senior financial planning or commercial finance roles
  • Extensive leadership and management experience, with ability to work in a diverse cultural environment as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels
  • Experience in successfully managing bottling relations
  • Strong understanding of bottling and competitor operations, including incidence and other business models
  • Strong collaboration skills and particular strength in 'connecting the dots' across multiple topics, data sets, etc.
  • Understanding of mathematical, optimization and computational concepts behind analytics algorithms is a plus.
