Supervision
Under the overall supervision of the Human Resources Officer and the direct supervision of the
Chief - Human Resources.
_ Core Functions / Responsibilities:
_
- Support the mission resources management in the area of Human Resources.
- Research on existing mechanisms/tools in Colombia and/or UN System that allow improving
- Design strategies and mechanisms to implement initiatives, programmes and tools to support
inclusion of DEI in relevant management processes.
- Design strategies and mechanisms to promote that persons with disabilities are included in
- In coordination with IOM Colombia's programs and units, identify opportunities for vacant

Education
- Are either enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum
resources, in disability, Social Projects, social inclusion from an accredited academic institution.
Experience
- Experience in human resources, inclusion, diversity, and disability inclusion.
Skills
- Understanding and knowledge in the creation of knowledge management products.
- Knowledge of business administration.
- Computer literacy, especially database tools and strong Excel knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and
- Proven ability to produce quality work accurately and concisely according to set deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently.
Languages
IOM's official languages are English, French, and Spanish. All staff members are required to be
fluent in one of the three languages.
For this position, fluency in English and Spanish is required (oral and written). Working
knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, and Russian) is an
advantage.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process,
which may include written and/or oral assessments.
