  • This is a new role created to support the development of the Partner Program (marketplace business model), a new sales channel for our eCommerce business in Latin America.
  • By fostering results oriented, fast moving & data driven culture, the Partner Program team is continually Creating The New. This role will be pivotal in the continued growth and overall success of the Partner Program in LAM.
  • The Platform Trading Senior Specialist role needs to meet and/or exceed budgeted divisional sales and profitability goals within the adidas digital sales environment, supporting Regional commercial processes as accounts assortments definition, merchandising strategy, sellthrough management, reporting and inventory levels by category on a seasonal basis.
  • We're looking for a talented analyst and a crossfunctional partner who can identify opportunities and work through evolving challenges in an effective and collaborative way with Regional and local teams.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial planning for the PP live accounts and E-Marketplace business.
  • Execute the Partner Program platform proposition in LAM for respective accounts including ranging strategy, forecasting consolidation, reporting and active inseason actions.
  • Responsible for knowing the consumer, category, channel, competitor and macroeconomic country situation for partner program key account categories. This includes the LAM retail and eCom environment in distribution, share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing.
  • Day to day responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with Commercial Lead and DPC teams in the Region to align in-season management and day to day operations of all live accounts.
  • Proactively manage all business KPIs linked to sales performance and inventory management, e.g. net sales, net quantity, standard margin, DCC, orders, cancellations etc.
  • Team up with local DPC KAMs to analyze seasonal assortment of products, use the data to create strategy in the buying process for future seasons, and recommend courses of action.
  • Drive collaboration with LAM Business Units, Local Marketing and Sales to create seasonal Range plans that include Brand, Product and Activation programs.
  • Maximizing commercial calendar, launches and events by securing inventory and reviewing online articles OTIF with Master Data team.
  • Drive regular analysis of sellthrough performance to the relevant LAM teams as well as contribute to overall inseason Partner Program strategic planning based on that analysis.
  • Partner closely with the Business Development, Operations and eCommerce Business Operations team to facilitate the seamless set up and launch of new account business
  • Key Relationships:
  • Partner Program Business Development, Strategy & Planning and Operations teams
  • LAM eCommerce Marketing, Business Operations, Financial Services, and Analytics teams
  • Marketplace team and business/technical teams of partner accounts
  • Wholesale team managing assigned accounts
  • LAM Supply Chain Management team, IT, Finance and Legal teams
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience (demonstrated experience in merchandising (eCom & retail) alongside account management, business development or finance is a key requirement.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analyses. Selfmotivated and passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving business processes, and solving problems.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to participate and confidently provide quantitative and qualitative input in investment review.
  • Ability to work in deadline driven environment. Solutionoriented with a focus on achieving results. Quick to learn new systems and tools
  • Fluency in English. Portuguese is a plus.
