Role: Sr. Asana Project Manager

Schedule: M-F / 8:00 – 5:00 PST with eventually 2-3 hours buffer/flexibility)

Type of Contract: Full Time - Independent Contractor

Salary Range: 2000 – 4000 USD (Based on Experience)

Scope of the role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of various projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in agile methodologies, particularly as a Scrum Master, and possess strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently across different platforms like Asana and Slack. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering effective communication among team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Scrum Master for assigned projects, facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Utilize Asana and Slack proficiently to monitor multiple channels, create new tickets, assign tasks to the appropriate team members, and manage project workflows effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication, feedback exchange, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, gather lessons learned,
  • and identify opportunities for process optimization.

Requirements

  • C1 English proficiency level both written and spoken
  • 4+ years of experience in project management roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Certification as a Scrum Master or equivalent agile certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools such as Asana and Slack, with the ability to navigate multiple channels and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and best practices, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively implement solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to project management.
