About the job

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive for Financial Services to join our Colombian sales team. This role is focused on developing and closing strategic deals with banks, insurance companies, and fintech organizations. You will work with cutting-edge analytics, AI, and cloud-based solutions to help your customers become more data-driven, efficient, and competitive.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:

  • Develop account strategies and territory plans for Financial Services clients.
  • Prospect and build strong relationships with C-level decision makers.
  • Manage complex sales cycles and negotiate enterprise-level deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build tailored, high-value solutions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor who helps customers succeed through data and innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in tech sales, ideally selling software to financial institutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving or surpassing quotas.
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or similar.
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong command of English.
  • High energy, goal-driven, and aligned with SAS values: curiosity, passion, authenticity, accountability.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling advanced analytics, AI, cloud solutions, or data management platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and digital transformation in banking or insurance.
  • Knowledge of SaaS and consultative selling methodologies.
