We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js / React.js) in Medellin, Colombia
What you will do
Take ownership of the entire BE for mobile application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance;
Collaborate with product managers and engineering team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
Architect, design, and implement efficient and scalable BE application;
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices;
Collaborate with mobile developers to integrate APIs and services;
Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and usability.
Must haves
5+ years of development experience in React.js (30%) and Node.js (70%);
A strong sense of ownership and willingness to overcome every challenge with the same level of energy, regardless of the complexity or the end goal;
Experience working in an environment leveraging remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g. Github, Slack, JIRA);
A deep sense of quality and attention to detail;
Strong software engineering foundation and experience;
Experience working with React Native;
Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
Experience working with Typescript;
Optional: experience with GCP;
Optional: experience with Strapi;
You are passionate about writing clean, modern, maintainable, & highly-performant code;
You have a pro-active ability and a self-starter attitude to troubleshoot and solve problems;
