We are looking for a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The candidate will develop and maintain high-quality APIs that efficiently transform data and image assets, bolstering asset pipelines. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, creativity, and a passion for creating scalable and robust backend systems.

You will: 

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for data and image transformation APIs within a cloud environment Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications Collaborate with the developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Maintain impeccable code quality, organization, automatization, and documentation Participate in code reviews, contributing to team efforts to improve development processes. Stay abreast of best practices in backend development and emerging technologies. Create APIs adding new capabilities within Unreal Engine

You have:

Advanced English level, at least B2+ 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of developing APIs for data and image transformation. Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java/C#, and Node.js. Experience with server-side frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Express.js. Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles Experience with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB/NoSQL. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and their application to backend development Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Familiarity with compositing and manipulating images with code Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Coding Bootcamp, or relevant API development experience, nice to have. Experience with Docker and AWS is nice to have. Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) practices, nice to have. Experience with image processing libraries or frameworks is nice to have. Experience working with Enterprise CMS (Adobe Experience Manager, Aprimo, Lighthouse, etc.), nice to have. An interest in game development, but no experience required.
