Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to support data integration and ETL processes. Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to meet custom requirements. Develop and manage reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Optimize and tune data processing systems for enhanced performance and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, guiding them in leveraging Big Data technologies to solve unique business challenges. Support the early definition of projects, including scope shaping and contributing to business cases. Perform estimation and impact analysis for data-related projects. Translate critical requirements into scalable data solutions, designing and implementing multiple data architectures. Guide the full data solution project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements analysis, information architecture design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Participate actively in Agile delivery team ceremonies, such as planning sessions and retrospectives. Collaborate with data technology partners/vendors to ensure the delivery of the best-fit solutions to clients.Qualifications and Skills
Graduates in systems, networks, or related fields with +5 years of experience. Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and stored procedures. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable. Experience with Business Intelligence, Analytics, and reporting technologies (e.g., SSAS, PowerBI). In-depth experience in data modeling, database design, and architecture, with a track record of developing scalable, maintainable, high-quality databases for large-scale data analytics projects. Strong knowledge of application capabilities, integration, data design methodologies, and industry best practices. A customer-centric approach, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in an international context, within virtual teams, and interacting easily with global stakeholders. Experience working within an Agile delivery framework (e.g., Scrum, DSDM). Leadership skills, with the ability to take a leading technical role in data/analytics projects. Excellent English language skills.Nice to have:
