We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team at Lean Tech. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions using Power BI. The successful candidate will play a critical role in interpreting data and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The role demands a deep understanding of data analytics, the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex business problems.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insightful analysis across various business units. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized data analytics solutions. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation processes is crucial. Additionally, you will optimize Power BI processes for performance and scalability, train and support users on Power BI usage and best practices, and stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and business intelligence technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing concepts and experience with SQL. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with Power BI is essential. The role requires the ability to translate complex datasets into strategic insights for non-technical stakeholders. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or a related field, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI, is required. Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics, as well as knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik), will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insightful analysis across various business units.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized data analytics solutions.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation processes.

Optimize Power BI processes for performance and scalability.

Train and support users on Power BI usage and best practices.

Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and business intelligence technologies.

Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.

Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including cloud services like Azure and AWS.

Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform business decisions.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.

Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.

Develop and implement data governance and security protocols.

Perform regular audits and reviews of Power BI reports to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

Participate in the development and execution of the company's data strategy.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with Power BI.
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into strategic insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or a related field, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI.
