Job Description

A 3D Generalist, capable to help as the creation of production assets at the base of a CGI pipeline. The ideal candidate is diligent and responsible. The CGI Artist will be an important helper for the Senior and Lead CGI roles in the development of high-quality assets within the production. This person will work closely with the Senior CGI artist and the rest of the CGI/vfx team to help in any case where their skills are fit. The CGI artist should be proactive and skilled all parts of the 3D pipeline at a mid-level. Must be able of following the studio and industry guidelines for any technical need and be capable of dealing with various loads of work depending on the project’s needs.

Although knowledge in every part of the basic CGI pipeline; modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting-shading, animating and rendering in a mid-level is required, having some key specialty to develop is preferred. Great organization skills, proactiveness and self-criticism are desired.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in CGI roles for production or advertising.

Education: An undergraduate degree in film /media is preferred. Graduate or undergraduate in graphic design or advertising is acceptable.

Skills and Abilities:

English B2 minimum Experience with Arnold or Vray render engines Thorough understating of the various technical and creative aspect of production for CG animation. Understanding of 3D principles and production pipelines. Ability to help in any of the areas inside a CGI pipeline at least a basic-to-mid level. This person must be highly diligent, with strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions without flaws. Naturally curious for technology and creativity. Great Eye for detail Knowledge of basic lighting concepts. Able to communicate with people effectively and collaboratively. Experience with Maya and 3DS Max Responsible for delivering tasks with efficiency and quality with proactive solutions to minor issues. Must have a sense of strong team dynamics and positive attitude. Proficiency with Unreal Engine is a plus
