As a Junior AR Accountant, your job is to help the Finance and Accounting team gain control over cash management, and invoicing and collections of revenue to ensure reporting produced by the Finance and Accounting team is accurate and timely. Accuracy will be measured by the company’s ability to complete a financial audit and timeliness will be measured by the Finance and Accounting team producing financial and cash management reports and analytics by the 15th of each month.

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting or finance
  
• 2-4 years of accounting experience or internship experience preferred
  
• In lieu of the above requirements, 5-10 years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience in the hospitality or property management industry
  
• Strong knowledge of Excel and advanced functions (pivot tables, v-lookups) required
  
• Experience with Microsoft Suite highly desirable
  
• Unwavering attention to detail and highly organized
  
• Consummate professional with superb communication skills
  
• Thirst for knowledge and enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment
  

• Manage payment applications and resolve open AR balances.
  
• Collaborate closely with our Sales team to track Accounts Receivable, notify them of any issues, and invoice Hospitality Sales customers and clients.
  
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
  
• Oversee Airbnb reconciliations to ensure payment accuracy at month-end.
  
• Monitor the AR inbox; respond to invoice requests, customer inquiries, and other internal inquiries.
  
• Upload bank transactions and make journal entries for cash receipts.
  
• Record and apply cash receipts for property billings.
  
• Assist in developing SOPs for all FAA processes you participate in.
  
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
