About the job:
As a Graphic Designer you will help in creating visually compelling and impactful fundraising campaigns that resonate with donors and supporters. You will work closely with the senior designer, and fundraising strategists to build creative designs that inspire engagement and giving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to develop innovative and effective designs for fundraising campaigns.
- Design various marketing materials, including direct mail appeals, print collateral, digital assets, social media graphics, emails and web elements
- Design templates for internal and external use, including Google Docs and Google Slides
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all materials to maintain a cohesive visual identity for both our clients and BuildGood.
- Work closely with the senior designer and strategists to understand campaign goals and adapt designs based on feedback.
- Keep up to date on the latest design tools, and techniques to ensure the organization's campaigns remain fresh and compelling.
- Adhere to the organization's mission and values including: Always be leading, Always be growing, Extreme Ownership, and Say what you think.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience as Graphic Designer
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities to develop original design ideas.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with others.
- Genuine interest in fundraising, philanthropy, and contributing to meaningful causes.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and with a remote team in multiple time zones.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of integrity
