Job Description

Our esteemed client is seeking a Project Manager who will be an integral part of their success story. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. You will manage deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Navigating the Mortgage Realm: Your Role and Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Competitor Research:

  • Conduct in-depth competitor research in the real estate, mortgage, finance, and technology industries.
  • Analyze competitors’ products, services, marketing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Identify industry trends, emerging threats, and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on competitor analysis to senior management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of competitor information and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to integrate competitive insights into strategic planning.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate project status, progress, and any issues to stakeholders regularly.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement best practices in project management.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to team members on project management methodologies and tools.

Project Management Software:

  • Utilize project management software such as Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or other tracking tools to plan, track, and manage projects.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to provide visibility into project status and performance.
  • Train team members on the use of project management software and ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a PMO role, preferably within the real estate, mortgage, finance, or technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting competitor research and market analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is a plus.

  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the real estate, mortgage, finance, and technology industries.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analysis tools to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Market Trends: Ability to identify and analyze market trends and their impact on the business.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning and business development.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout the shift, which may include extended periods of sitting and/or standing. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy environment.
  • May be required to drive for business purposes and if so, must hold a driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with EHL’s Auto Insurance policy.
