Media.Monks is seeking a Cultural Planner focused on Cultural research & Insights to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As Cultural research & Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing cultural trends and identifying opportunities for our company to leverage culture in innovative and impactful ways. You will work closely with the Content, Strategy, and Creative teams to develop and execute culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with our clients' target audiences.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis of global and local cultural trends, including pop culture, MEMEs social movements, luxury market, campaigns and emerging behaviors, and provide insights on how to leverage these trends for Media.Monks' clients. Collaborate with the Content, Strategy, and Creative teams to develop culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with target audiences across different regions and platforms. Provide guidance on cultural sensitivities and potential issues that may arise in campaigns and passion points, ensuring that content is appropriate and respectful. Conduct visual research to identify and curate diverse visual expressions, including video formats, that align with the cultural insights and themes that will be leveraged in campaigns. Work with the Creative team to incorporate diverse visual expressions and cultural insights into campaign concepts and executions, and provide feedback to ensure that creative outputs are culturally relevant and effective. Analyze campaign performance data and provide recommendations for improvement based on cultural insights. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cultural marketing, and share insights with the wider team. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the company, inspiring team members to think outside the box and experiment with new ideas. Use research and analysis of cultural trends to create new business opportunities within existing accounts (clients), in new projects, or with new clients. Analysis of qualitative and quantitative research Competitive analysis of market (benchmark) and territories. Conduct and analyze qualitative interviews, as well as develop interview scripts.Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Anthropology, Sociology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of developing and executing culturally-relevant campaigns. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and insights into clear recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way. Experience working collaboratively across teams and with external partners. Passion for culture and a deep understanding of cultural nuances across different regions and demographics. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.#LI-Hybrid
