Position Summary

Support production processes related to assembly activities, which include, but are not limited to, equipment assembly, equipment repair and service, final assembly, and the upgrade (upgrade/re-rate) of equipment manufactured by someone else. plant/division of the corporate, in accordance with the specifications provided by engineering, the procedures established in the installation and operation manuals of the product and the applicable procedures of the quality management system. Prepare reports of these tasks in each assembly and repair. Custody the assets in stock (inventory of the Colombia Operation), and at all times comply with and enforce the applicable ESH regulations in the warehouse and workshop area.

Essential Responsibilities

• Packaging, assembly and alignment of pumping equipment, motor-coupling-pump assembly and all applicable components according to the scope of supply, in the ITT Warehouse as well as in the field, and/or in the customer facilities of ITT GOULDS PUMPS COLOMBIA .• Diagnosis and maintenance of pumps.• Reception of equipment and spare parts • Dispatch of equipment and spare parts • Inspection of equipment and parts • Photographic record of orders in execution• Custody of material in the warehouse • Minor workshop maintenance tasks• Perform those other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, not covered in this job description.

Position Requirements

• Technical career, engineering or similar.• Minimum 5 years of experience in the metalworking industry or machine-tool workshop work, in a similar position.• Basic level English language at least
