Are you fully bilingual and passionate about product design, user research, and building digital experiences that make people’s lives easier? At Kanguro Insurance, we provide the best pet and renters insurance for the US market: bilingual, 24/7, fully digital, and with real benefits for pet families and renters. Over the past 4 years, we have built a small but powerful product team that builds our entire digital product, from our web checkout and widget to our backend and mobile app. We are currently hiring a Product Designer to own the product experience end to end. You will understand our users in depth, design the desired experience together with product leadership, and deliver clear, buildable UIs to our frontend and mobile developers. This is a high-responsibility, high-impact role: you will be the only designer on the team, switching between User Research (UR), User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) as needed. Your daily responsibilities include:
• Understand our evolving products, Pet Insurance and Renters Insurance, in detail, to design useful features for customers and internal teams.
• Research our users through existing team learnings and new studies.
• Design end-to-end experiences together with product leadership and turn them into tangible UIs for frontend and mobile developers.
• Work hand in hand with the rest of the Kanguro team, using your experience and technology to solve user needs in a scalable way.
• Leverage the latest AI-enhanced workflows across UR, UX and UI to scale your impact.
• Review, improve and own our UX guidelines and design system to deliver a more seamless, unified experience and brand identity.
• Experiment quickly with no-code AI tools (desired, not required).

What we offer
• Full-time position under a término indefinido contract in Colombia.
• Monthly salary of COP $9,000,000.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office (near Parque de la 93, Bogotá) and 2 days working from home.
• US holiday schedule, plus extra days paid monthly when Colombia has additional national holidays.
