What You'll Do
Integration Development
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party property management systems and external data sources
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines that move external data reliably into our platform
• Develop and maintain external-facing APIs — authentication, versioning, error handling, and operational reliability
• Write clean, well-tested TypeScript across backend services and integration layers
• Debug and resolve integration issues end-to-end — from external source through transformation to delivery Data Quality & Reliability
• Build integrations that catch and handle data quality issues at the source rather than passing problems downstream
• Add observability to your work — logging, monitoring, and alerting are part of delivery, not extras
• Write tests that give the team confidence to ship and refactor Collaboration
• Work closely with the pod lead and fellow engineers in a collaborative, sprint-based environment
• Work alongside a specialist AI engineer on automation and intelligent data workflows
• Communicate clearly on progress, blockers, and technical decisions
• Document your work — integration patterns and data contracts that teammates can build on What We're Looking ForRequired
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
• Strong TypeScript — this is the primary language of the team
• Experience building or consuming third-party APIs in production — you understand rate limiting, pagination, error handling, and retry logic
• Experience building data pipelines or transformation layers
• Solid MySQL fundamentals
• Familiarity with AWS — EC2, RDS, S3
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines Nice to Have
• Experience with property management platforms or real estate data
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks or LLM-based tooling
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Background in proptech, fintech, or data-intensive industries
