🚨 We’re Hiring: US Trucking Safety & Compliance Specialist 📍

Hybrid

Do you have an analytical mind and a talent for investigation? We are seeking a methodical and self-motivated professional to join our team as a specialist on our Tier 2 Safety & Compliance desk. This is a technical, knowledge-based role perfect for someone with a background in Carrier Sales, Claims, Dispatch, Quality Assurance or Fleet Management who excels at problem-solving and wants to become an expert in the critical area of DOT/FMCSA compliance. The Mission:

What You'll Do
You will act as a specialized analyst, managing a queue of safety and compliance cases from start to finish. Your goal is to understand each request, investigate it thoroughly, and resolve it with the correct solution in the most efficient way possible. Investigate & Resolve Cases: Serve as a Tier 2 specialist by analyzing escalated alerts, events from our monitoring systems (Samsara, Motive), and inbound driver requests. You will own each case, investigate the root cause, and apply the correct company and federal policies for resolution. Manage Multi-Channel Communications: Handle a mix of back-office work and live communication, processing email tickets, inbound calls, and making outbound calls to drivers for coaching and incident management. Become a Policy Expert: Become adept at interpreting and applying complex DOT/FMCSA regulations. You will be responsible for learning our policies and using that knowledge to provide accurate guidance. Handle Client & Driver Escalations: Act as a reliable point of contact for complex compliance questions and critical safety events, managing communications with both drivers and clients to ensure a swift and professional resolution. Audit & Report: Methodically audit Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) for Hours of Service (HOS) compliance, document findings, and manage the violation reporting process. Skills:
Core Traits: You are methodical, highly organized, and self-motivated. You enjoy investigating complex issues, learning new policies, and finding the right solution. English Proficiency (Essential): B2 level is the minimum; C1 or higher is strongly preferred for clear communication with US-based drivers and managers. Industry

Experience:
Demonstrable experience within the US trucking/logistics industry is highly desired. Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable learning and using new software. Experience with Samsara, PeopleNet/Trimble, or Motive is a major plus.
