ABOUT US
Decision Business Services is a growing tax, accounting, and business services firm based in Houston, Texas. We support small and mid-sized U.
S. businesses with bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and back-office operations. Our team works remotely across Latin America, and we run on clear systems, real deadlines, and a culture where people are respected and supported. THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced, fully bilingual bookkeeper who can own recurring payroll, invoicing, and bookkeeping cycles for several U.
S. clients — and who will also own the HR side of our business: hiring, offboarding, incident reporting, and everything employee-related. Most of our clients communicate mainly in English, so you will be writing emails, joining calls, and resolving questions in English every day. Professional, confident English is essential. This is not a data-entry job. You will be trusted with weekly and biweekly payroll deadlines, client billing, and confidential employee information. We need someone dependable, organized, and calm under deadlines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Payroll & Timesheets (weekly rhythm)
• Collect and send client timesheets for approval every Monday before 10:00 AM (Central), for multiple clients on weekly and biweekly cycles
• Save and organize daily timesheets and time cards for client accounts on a set schedule
• Run weekly payroll every Tuesday before the deadline
• Run biweekly payroll on Wednesdays in ADP and WorkMarket
• Double-check hours, rates, and approvals before every payroll run — accuracy is everything here Invoicing & Accounts Receivable
• Create client invoices in QuickBooks Online and send them with supporting PDF timesheets
• Build and maintain the monthly master invoice tracker
• Follow up on pending and overdue invoices with friendly, professional reminders in English Bookkeeping
• Categorize new bank and credit card transactions weekly (Fridays)
• Reconcile accounts and keep client books clean and current
• Flag anything unusual — duplicate charges, missing receipts, personal expenses in business accounts Human Resources (everything employee-related)
• Manage the full hiring process: job posts, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offers, and follow-up with candidates
• Onboard new employees: contracts, document collection, tool access, and first-week checklists
• Handle layoffs and offboarding with professionalism and care, including documentation, access removal, and follow-up
• Receive, document, and file workplace incident reports, and follow up until each one is resolved
• Maintain employee records: agreements, contact info, start dates, and time-off and permit requests
• Keep the shared team calendar accurate and track time off
• Document performance check-ins and follow-ups, and keep all employee files organized and confidential
• Keep internal policies and SOPs up to date
• Be the steady, approachable point of contact for all employee questions and concerns, in English or Spanish WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must-Haves
• Fully bilingual: fluent, professional English (C1–C2) and native Spanish, written and spoken — comfortable leading client calls and writing client emails in English
• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with U.
S. clients
• Hands-on payroll experience — ADP strongly preferred; WorkMarket is a plus
• Strong QuickBooks Online skills — invoicing, categorization, reconciliations
• Proven ability to hit hard weekly deadlines without reminders
• Experience handling confidential financial and employee information
• Reliable internet, a quiet workspace, and availability during U.
S. Central business hours Nice-to-Haves
• HR

• You love checklists and clean books
• You notice small errors before they become big problems
• You communicate clearly and briefly — bullet points over long paragraphs
