SAP BTP Integration Specialist

📝 Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP BTP Integration Specialist to join our IT Application Management team. This role is critical to ensuring seamless communication and data flow across our diverse ecosystem of 130+ enterprise applications, as well as with external partners through EDI and other integration protocols. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in system integration, application interfacing, and data exchange technologies—with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) expertise considered a strong asset. 🔧

Key Responsibilities
Internal Application Integration
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between internal applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.) using SAP BTP and other tools
• Collaborate with application owners to understand data flows, dependencies, and integration requirements
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations External Partner Integration
• Manage and support EDI interfaces with customers and vendors (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, shipping notices)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and partner-specific requirements
• Coordinate onboarding of new trading partners and maintain integration documentation SAP BTP Integration
• Leverage SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh to build scalable and secure integrations
• Develop and manage iFlows, APIs, and connectors within SAP BTP
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and application teams to ensure alignment with SAP architecture and governance Architecture & Governance
• Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and security protocols
• Maintain integration architecture diagrams and documentation
• Participate in application lifecycle planning to ensure integration scalability and maintainability 🎯 Qualifications Required
• Certification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in application/system integration
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols
• Proficiency in API development and integration platforms
• Experience with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc.)
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA Cloud, CDS views, and SQL scripting.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Experience with SAP ODATA
• Proficiency in Node.js or Java Preferred / Strong Assets
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), especially SAP Integration Suite
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Event Mesh, and API Management
• Experience with cloud-based integration (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Knowledge of data transformation tools (XSLT, JSON, XML)
• Understanding of ITIL or other service management frameworks
• Experience with other integration platforms such as WebMethod, SAP PI/PO, Gentran are strong assets 🤝 Soft Skills
