Job Description
Your Role: This is not a security analyst role. The selected engineer is not expected to perform security analysis, investigate findings, or participate in security decisionmaking. Instead, the engineers will leverage their extensive GitHub administration and platform knowledge to provide real-time system information and operational support to the security investigation team. This support may include gathering and providing information related to: Platform configuration and settings. User and administrator accounts. Repositories and repository permissions. Organization and enterprise settings. Audit and operational data. Platform administration details. Other GitHub system information as requested by the security team.
Your Profile
Proven 2-3 years of hands-on experience administering and operating GitHub Enterprise environments. Azure Dev Ops Experience Would Be Helpful. Strong scripting and automation skills, including: PowerShell / Python Demonstrated experience using GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to improve technical productivity, accelerate analysis, and assist with reporting and data organization. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently, operate with limited direction, and successfully deliver outcomes when provided objectives rather than detailed procedures.
