Safe Transfers by Cielo.
Travel Bogotá
· El Dorado Airport
· Wednesday–Sunday nights, usually 10:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
· Contrato indefinido
· around $3,500,000 COP per month in total (base salary plus the extra pay the law sets for night, Sunday and holiday hours) At the airport when you have arrivals, at home when you don’t. Two weeks of daytime training before your first night. It’s 3:40 a.m. An overnight flight from Madrid has just cleared customs, and your client is looking around the arrivals hall for their name. Two more flights land within the hour, a traveler in New York is asking about a pickup next week, and a hotel concierge wants a 6 a.m. pickup confirmed. You’re the only one on duty. For these hours, you are Safe Transfers. Every one of these has to be handled — warmly, in both languages, and exactly right. That’s this job. About Safe Transfers Safe Transfers by Cielo.
Travel is Colombia’s English-first airport transfer and tour company, trusted by hotels, business travelers, VIPs and families from around the world. Behind it: 1,200+ reviews across Safe Transfers & Cielo.
Travel, 500,000+ social followers, a feature in El Espectador, and our own technology, built to make us the most reliable premium ground transportation company in Latin America. This is the job that keeps that promise through the night. What you’ll do Meet our clients when they land. You wait for them in the arrivals hall with their name on a sign, looking sharp. You confirm it’s them, walk them to their driver, and make their first minutes in Colombia easy. Keep every ride on track. You follow the flights and the drivers in real time, confirm each driver an hour before pickup, find a replacement when a driver falls through, and fix problems before the client notices them. Answer every message, and close the simple bookings. Travelers in other time zones and hotel concierges keep writing through the night. You answer all of them, warmly and professionally. For standard routes, you send the price from our system and close the booking with a payment link. For anything else — a two-day trip, a route we don’t have a price for, a group — you send a friendly reply saying when we’ll have an answer, and leave a note with the details for the day team. You never make up a price. Hand the night over cleanly. At 7 a.m. the day team gets an up-to-date list of the night’s rides and open conversations, notes on anything that went wrong, and a short summary, so they can start the day without asking you anything. How this shift works
• Where you work. When you have an arrival or a pickup, you’re at our El Dorado office before the flight lands. When nothing is scheduled, you work from home. Either way you’re on shift: awake, online and reachable.
• Always reachable. Your phone is on and you answer the team within ten minutes. An hour before each pickup, you confirm the driver in the team chat, so the coordinator on call knows everything is on track.
• Your schedule. Wednesday to Sunday nights, usually 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Hours can start earlier or end later depending on the night’s flights; you see them in the schedule a week ahead. You work every weekend and any holiday that lands on one of your nights. Changes go through the schedule, not through a chat message.
• Right the first time. Dates, hours, pickup times, names, drivers, license plates. A two-day service is quoted as two days. If a detail is missing, you ask the client for it once. We keep a simple list of anything the day team had to correct and go through it with you every week, so you always know how you’re doing.
• If something goes wrong, say so right away. A problem you flag at 2 a.m. is one we can fix together. These five things are also how we evaluate your trial period. We go through them with you in writing at day 30 and day 45, so there are no surprises. Who you are
• You’ve worked nights before. A hotel front desk at night, airport or airline operations, a bilingual customer-service night shift — and you know how your body handles it. We ask your references about it.
• People describe you as reliable. Your last managers would say you were always there and always picked up the phone.
• You’re careful with details. Times, names, plates, dates and hours — right at 4 a.m. as well as at 4 p.m.
• You stay calm alone at 3 a.m., and you ask for help early. You follow the checklist every time, and when something isn’t on it you wake the right person instead of guessing.
• You’re warm and confident in both languages. Polished, natural Spanish, and English good enough to handle any conversation with a native speaker (B2 or better). We’ll speak both with you.
• You’re comfortable with technology. WhatsApp Business, our messaging system, our booking system, flight tracking, spreadsheets, and AI tools that make you faster. What we give you A desk at our El Dorado airport office, with the phone, laptop and data plan the job needs. Your ride home after every airport shift. Two weeks of daytime training and two supervised nights before you run the shift alone. A coordinator on call every night, so you always know who to call. And the message templates, automatic messages and AI tools that let one person run the whole night. How the pay works Most of your hours are at night, and Colombian law sets extra pay for night, Sunday and holiday hours. Your contract sets a base salary, and that extra pay is added on top and shown as separate lines on every payslip. A typical month comes to around $3,500,000 COP in total; it varies a little with the exact hours you work. The figure here is the same one you’ll see in your contract and on your payslips — nothing hidden. Where this leads Safe Transfers is growing city by city, with Medellín and Cartagena next. The people who run a shift well now are first in line for what comes: the day operation, a role leading operations, or a place on the team that opens the next city. Requirements
• Spanish: fluent and polished. English: B2 or better — you can handle any conversation with a native speaker, in writing and on the phone.
• Available every Wednesday to Sunday night, usually 10:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., including every weekend and any holiday that lands on your nights.
• At least six months working an overnight schedule.
• 2+ years in hotels, travel, airport or airline operations, driver coordination, high-end customer service, concierge work, or bilingual customer support.
• You live in Bogotá and can reliably get to El Dorado at night (we cover the ride home).
• Two former managers we can call as references.
• Resume in English to be considered.
