About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Weekend On-Call Domestic Logistics Coordinator to support our domestic transportation operations during weekends and after-hours periods. This role is responsible for coordinating time-critical shipments, managing expedited transportation requests, and ensuring proactive tracking and communication for shipments moving across the United States. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, has strong transportation and customer service skills, and can effectively manage urgent shipment requests while maintaining accuracy and accountability. Qualifications Required
• 1+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
• Experience coordinating domestic shipments and transportation services.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in time-sensitive situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Preferred
• Experience using AS400 systems.
• Knowledge of expedited transportation services.
• Experience with:
• Next Flight Out (NFO) shipments
• Sprinter van operations
• Truckload and expedited freight coordination
• Shipment tracking and tracing
• Previous experience supporting after-hours or weekend logistics operations.
