Customer Service Representative Jr
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and warehouse activity, ensuring smooth communication between customers, warehouse teams, and transportation partners.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and warehouse activity.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and provide timely status updates.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are received, processed, picked, staged, and shipped accurately.
• Enter and maintain customer orders and shipment information in warehouse and transportation systems.
• Schedule and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with customers and carriers.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate delays, exceptions, or operational issues.
• Respond to customer questions through phone, email, and internal communication platforms.
• Assist with inventory inquiries, order discrepancies, damaged freight, and missing product.
• Review shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate notes and records for customer accounts and operational activities.
• Work closely with warehouse supervisors, transportation teams, and customer service representatives to resolve issues quickly.
• Assist with daily reporting and other administrative or operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a professional and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and learning new software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, warehouse employees, drivers, and internal teams.
• Willingness to learn warehousing, transportation, inventory, and supply-chain processes.
