, leading renewable energy company, is seeking a
Junior Accountant
to join the team. The Junior accountant, maintain all accounting information according to the IFRS and Fiscal standards updated such CTG Colombia company as the SPVs to support the compliance with local authorities reports, internal and head quarter reports and all stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Post at SAP and local accounting software all accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting notes, payments, bank notes, credit notes, debit notes, bank expenses, invoices, documents revers, clearing accounts, general cash in COP and USD.
  • Assist to the Accounting manager in scanning accounting documentation and keep in the respectively files.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in physically and electronic filing all posted accounting documents and other necessary supporting documentation in the respective file folders.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare all reconciliation required as is need it.
  • Assist the finance department in provided documentation and answers to all type of auditors.
  • Maintain the file update as of the date.
  • Assist the Tax Senior in prepare the exogenous information.
  • Assist all finance department in the operational requirements.
  • Assist with basic information to all departments as: Tax data, suppliers balance, client balance, amounts paid to suppliers and received form Clients including dates.

Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant in Colombia
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience related to accounting tasks
  • At least 5 years' experience as a bookkeeper
  • Experience in SAP Finance module
  • Experience in accounting outsourcing or working for different companies at the same time
  • Experience of working in multicultural environments
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office and good writing skills
  • Experience working with all accounting functions in SAP
  • Spoken and written English is a must and written Spanish required
