The team operates in a fast-paced brokerage environment where proactive problem-solving and strong carrier relationships are critical to success.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Logistics Coordinator with a strong background in oversized shipments and car carrier freight. This role is highly operational and negotiation-driven, requiring daily communication with truck drivers and carriers to secure capacity, negotiate competitive rates, and manage shipments from dispatch through delivery.The ideal candidate must be a strong negotiator, comfortable handling high-pressure situations, dropped loads, and last-minute changes, while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Prior experience in a freight brokerage environment is required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and manage oversized and car carrier shipments from dispatch to delivery
  • Negotiate rates, detention, layover, and accessorial charges directly with truck drivers and carriers
  • Source and secure capacity using load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and existing carrier relationships
  • Handle high-volume, time-sensitive freight in a fast-paced brokerage environment
  • Communicate proactively with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to prevent delays or service failures
  • Resolve issues such as dropped loads, late pickups, mechanical delays, or route changes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed shipment records in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Manage multiple inbound and outbound calls simultaneously while prioritizing urgent tasks
  • Ensure compliance with shipment requirements, especially for oversized and specialized loads

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or Dispatcher within a freight brokerage
  • Direct experience handling oversized, specialized, or car carrier shipments (required)
  • Proven track record of negotiating rates with truck drivers and carriers
  • Strong understanding of load boards such as DAT and Truckstop
  • Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) (Tai Software strongly preferred)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple calls, and perform under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
