We are looking for an experienced AI Architect who will play a critical role in building and operationalizing production-ready AI agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend & Systems Engineering (Principal Level)
    • Linux (advanced): system inspection, debugging, permissions, services
    • Backend microservices (Go / / TypeScript)
    • API design, exposure, and troubleshooting (REST, auth, webhooks)
    • JSON / XML configuration and transformation
    • CLI-based system diagnostics and fixes
    Telephony & Real-Time Systems
    • SBC / PBX configuration and troubleshooting
    • Voice system integrations and routing logic
    • SIP-related concepts, endpoints, codecs (high-level, applied)
    • Adapting telephony settings to enable SaaS integrations
    Infrastructure & Enterprise IT Unblocking
    • VPN configuration and policy troubleshooting
    • IP whitelisting, firewall rules, and network constraints
    • Roles, permissions, and access control across systems
    • Navigating restrictive enterprise IT environments
    Forward Deployment & Customer Enablement
    • On-site / high-touch customer delivery
    • Rapid root-cause analysis in unfamiliar systems
    • Building wrapper microservices to bridge incompatible systems
    • Leading and mentoring backend & AI engineers
    Technical Leadership & Enablement
    • Operate as a Forward Deployment technical authority across customer engagements.
    • Lead and unblock AI Engineers and backend engineers during complex integrations.
    • Define integration architectures and emergency mitigation strategies.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience unblocking complex enterprise integrations between customer systems and SaaS platforms under tight timelines.
  • Diagnosed and resolved production issues across Linux systems, networking layers, telephony infrastructure, and APIs.
  • Configured and adapted SBC / PBX systems, endpoints, and routing rules to enable voice-based integrations.
  • Built Go-based and TypeScript microservices to act as integration wrappers between legacy systems and modern SaaS platforms.
  • Troubleshot VPN connectivity, IP whitelisting, firewall restrictions, and authentication failures in customer environments.
  • Worked directly with enterprise IT, security, and engineering teams to resolve blockers and stabilize deployments.
  • Acted as technical lead, mentoring engineers and defining integration patterns and best practices.

Location: Must be based in or near Bogotá, Colombia. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with AI technologies, LLMs, or conversational systems.
  • Prior exposure to early-stage or high-growth startup environments.
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript in production environments.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog), CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms is beneficial.
