Senior Fullstack Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (LLM/AI) in Latin America.

In this role, you will design, build, and optimize full-stack solutions that power AI-driven training simulations for real-world skills development. You will work on backend services using NestJS, Python, or Java, and contribute to frontend components with ReactJS, ensuring seamless integration and high performance. The role involves collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into scalable, reliable technical solutions while supporting cloud-based deployments in Azure and AWS. You will participate in agile workflows, contribute to code quality, and help migrate legacy systems to modern architectures. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI integration, including LLM-powered features, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will also mentor peers and influence the architecture and design of complex systems, shaping the future of AI-enabled software products.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using NestJS, Python, or Java.

• Build scalable systems to deploy, monitor, and maintain AI and LLM-powered features.

• Support frontend development using ReactJS as required (approx. 20% of the role).

• Contribute to the migration of backend services from Java to NestJS.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver reliable and efficient technical solutions.

• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices.

• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), monitoring performance and reliability.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

 
• 6+ years of professional software development experience in Java, TypeScript, or Python.

• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) or AI-driven systems.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, software design principles, and modular architecture.

• Experience with cloud-based deployments, preferably Azure, with AWS as a plus.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies (ReactJS) and full-stack development practices.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.

• Nice to have: experience integrating AI tools/APIs into software workflows, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and mentoring or knowledge sharing.
