Be the financial backbone of
Telepatia
.

As a
Financial Controller
, you'll own the company's day-to-day financial operations in Colombia: accounting coordination, payments, billing, collections, tax support, and financial controls.

Your job is to ensure
money flows correctly, on time, and with traceability
— so founders can focus on scaling the business.

Four Core Skills

Ok, but what is the Financial Controller role about?

You will own Telepatia's
financial operations layer
in Colombia.

This is not a strategic finance role — it is a
hands-on execution role
focused on making sure:

• Everyone gets paid (payroll and providers)
• Taxes are paid
• Clients are billed and pay
• Expenses are supported with invoices
• Financial information is clean and auditable
• some procurement and admin tasks to ensure business continuity

Your success metric is simple:
no surprises, no missed deadlines, clean records.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Own payroll, social security, parafiscales, and primas via coordination with accountants.
• Coordinate tax compliance (IVA, calendars, filings) and ensure on-time payments.
• Own billing operations: issue invoices, confirm receipt, track collections.
• Execute company payments and maintain cash & payment logs.
• Own expense control: invoices, receipts, and enforcement of expense policy.
• Manage company credit cards (assignments, limits, supports).
• Own procurement & assets: purchase equipment, manage inventory, asset register.
• Own SG-SST, corporate housekeeping, and compliance calendar.
• Maintain legal & admin document control (contracts, certificates, policies, folders).
• Coordinate vendors, accountants, and lawyers as single operational point of contact.

• 2–5 years experience in accounting, finance operations, or controller-type roles.
• Hands-on experience with payroll, taxes, billing, and payments in Colombia.
• Comfortable working with external accountants.
• Highly detail-oriented and process-driven.
• Strong follow-through and accountability.
• Startup experience is a plus.
