Job Description: Virtual Paralegal – Bankruptcy Specialist

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Virtual Paralegal – Bankruptcy Specialist to support our team remotely. This role involves managing bankruptcy cases and ensuring seamless communication and organization in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage cases involving Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, including drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents.

· Conduct legal research to support attorneys and ensure compliance with bankruptcy laws and procedures.

· Communicate with clients via email, phone, and video conferencing to gather necessary documents, provide updates, and answer case-related questions.

· Maintain and organize case files using Clio or similar case management software in a remote setting.

· Coordinate with courts, trustees, and other parties involved in bankruptcy proceedings.

· Monitor and track deadlines to ensure timely submission of all required documents.

Qualifications:

· Required: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal with specific expertise in bankruptcy law (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13).

· Proficiency in using Clio case management software or a comparable system.

· Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a virtual environment.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Paralegal certification preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.

· Experience working remotely is a plus.
