As a **Clinical AI Scientist**, you'll work at the intersection of medicine, machine learning, and product innovation. You'll help train, evaluate, and improve the models behind Telepatia's AI Doctor — ensuring clinical safety, accuracy, and world-class performance.

This is a **non-assistential role**:

no patients, no shifts, no bureaucracy.

Only high-level clinical reasoning, model training, and system design.

**What is the Clinical AI Scientist role about?**

As a **Clinical AI Scientist**, you'll embed medical intelligence into our models and products.

You will:

• Train AI systems in clinical reasoning

• Evaluate model performance across specialties

• Build high-quality clinical datasets

• Help architect the logic behind CDSS models

• Design and iterate prompting strategies

• Work side-by-side with ML engineers and product teams

• Support hospital pilots with a scientific, non-assistential lens

• Represent the voice of the clinician in an AI company

• Influence model safety, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks

This is a hands-on, high-ownership, deeply technical role for a doctor who thinks of medicine as both a science and a system.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

• **Train and evaluate AI models** related to clinical documentation, reasoning, guidelines, and CDSS.

• **Design evaluation datasets** that reflect real-world medical complexity in Colombia and LatAm.

• **Perform error analysis** and collaborate with ML engineers to improve model performance.

• **Develop prompting strategies** for clinical tasks (summaries, plans, differential diagnosis, guidelines compliance).

• **Contribute to ontology work** and clinical data structuring.

• **Validate product updates** and run safety QA on new model behaviors.

• **Support implementation teams** with clinical insights in early hospital onboardings (non-assistential).

• **Stay up-to-date** with global advances in clinical AI and translate them into Telepatia's context.

• **Document clinical logic** and partner with engineering teams to encode it into models and products.

• **Participate in experiments** involving CDSS prototypes and medical knowledge graphs.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to hospitals (non-assistential role)
