Software Development Engineer

Job Title

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using Angular for the front end and .NET Core / C# for the back end. This role requires a strong willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams—including analysts, QA engineers, and project managers—to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular and .NET Core

• Develop software according to Amadeus standards. _ Model, design and implement databases.

• Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.

• Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.

• Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst

• Participate in code reviews, contribute to team discussions, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for better performance.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  _ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

• Analyze specifications
  _ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
  _ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.

Common accountabilities:

Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area can be a plus ​

Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.​

Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

•  1–3 years of experience in software development.

•  Basic understanding of Angular framework, .NET Core, and C# programming.

•  Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GitHub version control, and SQL databases.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating in agile environments.

• Knowledge of software design patterns and application architecture principles.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and follow development best practices.
