E-commerce Virtual Assistant – Growing UK Business | Remote | Immediate Start

Role Name: E-commerce Virtual Assistant

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week); Tuesday to Saturday, flexible on time-frame 

Client Timezone: UK Time (London)

Client Overview: Join a dynamic UK-based e-commerce business that's scaling their online operations across multiple platforms. This growing company values expertise and is looking for someone to take genuine ownership of key store functions. You'll work directly with a business owner who understands the importance of operational excellence and invests in the right people to drive success.

Job Description: You'll become the operational backbone of a thriving e-commerce business, taking full ownership of day-to-day store management and customer experience. This isn't just another VA role – you'll be a strategic partner who directly impacts business growth through your e-commerce expertise. You'll have the autonomy to optimize processes, solve problems proactively, and build lasting customer relationships while working with modern tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Shopify store operations and daily maintenance
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and customer communications
  • Provide exceptional customer service support and resolve inquiries promptly
  • Handle inventory management and address stock-related issues
  • Resolve customer complaints and fallback issues with professionalism
  • Oversee comprehensive store management and operational workflows
  • Monitor and improve overall customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on stock and fulfillment matters

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing Shopify stores and e-commerce operations
  • Strong background in email marketing tools and campaign management
  • Excellent customer service skills with problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with inventory management and stock coordination
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Bonus if you have experience with Amazon, eBay, or other e-commerce platforms
  • It helps if you're familiar with UK market dynamics and customer expectations
