Job Description

Your role We are seeking an experienced Data Science Specialist to join our Data Analytics & AI team in Colombia. In this role, you will design, build, and validate datasets that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning solutions across the company.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Work directly with customers to validate network designs and solutions
• Design and execute test plans in lab environments
• Support Data Center and Enterprise network implementations
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and collaborate with engineering teams
• Work closely with Sales and Solution Architects on upcoming initiativesContribute to innovation and process improvement across engagements

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 3–8+ years working with Cisco networking technologies
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, ISIS)
• Experience with Data Center or Enterprise networks
• Hands-on with Cisco platforms (Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISR)
• Basic skills in Python / automation / scripting
• Familiarity with virtualization, VPNs, MPLS, SDN
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to customers

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutionsorapplications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. Heorshe is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. Hisorher work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of hisorher software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
