Purpose
Johnson & Johnson Global Services is currently recruiting for a Lead, Master Data Operations to support customer and vendor master data execution processes. This role will be based at the Global Services Capability Center in Bogota, Colombia or São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Operational Excellence
  • Adhere to relevant laws and regulations, and adhere to the guidelines outlined in the J&J Credo.
  • Execute regional/global programs Data Operations activities for their region / franchise in alignment with overall department strategies. May include management of business process outsourcing model, value capture, metrics, operational reviews, end-to-end business capabilities and/or departmental talent strategy.
  • Oversee daily operations and escalations of master data management operations functions. Ensure SLAs exist and monitor response time. Manage and control data quality by driving escalations and discussions with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements. Communicate comprehensive data operations metrics and dashboards related to their franchise / region.
  • Support Data Quality processes and collaborate on the refinement and implementation of creative solutions.
  • Resolve complex process issues and ensure complete and up-to-date documentation.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new team members.
  • Establishes and implement programs and innovative initiatives (e.g. process improvements) for the Master Data Operations area.
  • Oversee daily operations and escalations of master data management operations functions. Ensure SLAs exist and monitor response time. Manage and control data quality by driving escalations and discussions with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements. Communicate comprehensive data operations metrics and dashboards related to their franchise / region.
  • Leads and implements projects, programs, and processes in support of the MDM Operations strategy and overall goals & objectives.
  • Be a Trusted Business Partner
  • Build strong internal relationships with sector partners.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties on practical aspects and offer guidance to external teams when necessary.
  • Coach teammates in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Engage with business partners by providing appropriate guidance on data operations. Work with IT partners to resolve production issues. Drive strategic direction with third party team(s). Accountable for ensuring third party performance is in accordance with set SLAs.
  • Work with JJT partners to resolve production issues.
  • Create Innovative Solutions
  • Lead development of master data execution solutions to complex problems.
  • Generate ideas and identify and implement process improvements in line with global standards.
  • Adopt new ideas, rapid change, and new technologies to drive innovation.

Education

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics/supply chain or a related business field.

Required

  • At least 6-8 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in master data management within the context of large ERP platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Openness to new ideas, rapid change, and new technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and express ideas in an organized and logical manner.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills to help shape and model the desired culture.
  • Focusing on customer needs.
  • Ability to embed a culture of harmonization, process improvement, and value creation across business segments
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead and influence teams
  • Skilled in process improvement, Six-Sigma, LEAN, Process Excellence certification
  • Languages: Advanced English / Intermediate Portuguese / Intermediate Spanish

Preferred

  • Experience in a shared services center of a multinational corporation.
  • Knowledge of digital/intelligent automation capabilities.
  • Experience in extracting detailed data sets from various sources, concatenating, and analyzing.
