As an
Intermediate C# Software Engineer
, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and .NET technologies. You'll collaborate with global teams, ensure scalability, maintain system stability, and continuously improve processes to deliver world-class software solutions.

Job Overview

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract

Shift: Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Colombian Time, Weekends Off

Work setup: Onsite, Bogotá, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3 to 5 years of experience
    designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level, n-tier software solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft C# is a must
  • In-depth experience with .NET framework and .NET Core
  • Knowledge of
    OOP, server technologies, and SOA (Micro-services experience is a plus)
  • Relevant experience with database design and SQL (Postgres preferred)
  • Experience with ORM tooling
  • Experience delivering software that is correct, stable, and security-compliant
  • Basic understanding of common AWS services (S3, CloudFront, etc.)
  • Financial services experience is strongly preferred
  • Thorough
    understanding of XML/JSON and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of unit, integration, and performance testing for APIs
  • Entrepreneurial spirit-self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong writing and problem-solving abilities

Required Proficiencies:

  • Leverage cloud and database technologies to build responsive APIs
  • Collaborate with the product team on business logic and validation
  • Contribute to cross-functional squads delivering client-facing features
  • Build reusable, testable code that drives engineering efficiency

Your Daily Tasks

  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable C# applications
  • Collaborate closely with QA engineers, product managers, and peers
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Maintain existing systems and troubleshoot production issues when needed
  • Contribute to technical documentation and process improvement
  • Complete onboarding and access all development environments and tools
  • Review project documentation and understand architecture standards
  • Deliver first minor feature or bug fix under team supervision
