The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Web Developer — a marketer with strong technical skills, not a traditional software engineer.

This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of marketing, front-end web execution, and marketing operations. You'll own the technical execution of marketing web experiences, ensuring campaigns are launched quickly, tracked accurately, and continuously optimized for conversion.

Your primary focus will be building and maintaining marketing-driven web assets (landing pages, microsites, content hubs) using visual CMS platforms like HubSpot CMS and Webflow, while supporting analytics, experimentation, and marketing technology integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Web Execution
  • Build and maintain landing pages, campaign microsites, and marketing web experiences using HubSpot CMS (primary) and Webflow.

  • Customize and adapt CMS templates and modules using HubL, HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript as needed (no heavy backend development).

  • Translate marketing concepts and design mockups into high-performing, conversion-focused web pages.

  • Partner closely with demand generation, content, and design teams to support campaign launches.

  • Support upcoming marketing website rebuilds and content hub initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Marketing Analytics, Tracking & Optimization

  • Own and maintain Google Tag Manager implementations across marketing web properties.

  • Ensure accurate setup of Google Analytics and HubSpot analytics for campaign and conversion tracking.

  • Support marketing technology integrations, including form tools, CRM connections, and API-based integrations where required.

  • Manage cookie consent and tracking compliance (GDPR, CCPA) in collaboration with Legal and IT teams.

  • Assist with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives, using data to improve performance over time.

  • Build and maintain simple marketing dashboards that connect web activity to campaign and business outcomes.

Website Maintenance & Performance

  • Own the organization and upkeep of marketing web assets, knowing where content lives and when it was last updated.

  • Execute ongoing website updates, content refreshes, and performance improvements.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve page speed, usability, and conversion rates.

  • Troubleshoot front-end and tracking issues quickly to keep marketing activities running smoothly.

Requirements

Core Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience working on marketing websites and campaign assets within a marketing or growth team.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS (required), including templates, modules, HubL, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience building marketing pages in Webflow, or the ability to ramp up quickly.

  • Practical experience with Google Tag Manager, analytics tagging, and marketing performance tracking.

  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels, lead generation, and conversion optimization.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced marketing environment with multiple campaigns and stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute designs accurately.

  • Ability to present a portfolio of marketing landing pages, microsites, or campaign web experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting marketing operations or marketing technology integrations.

  • Familiarity with basic API-based integrations related to marketing tools.

  • Experience running or supporting A/B tests and CRO experiments.

  • Prior experience working with external agencies on marketing web projects.
