Description: Product Owner – VMS Technical Backlog

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for owning, prioritizing, and driving the technical backlog for the VMS platform, Beeline. The Product Owner will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and vendor partners, ensuring that enhancements, integrations, and support requests are captured, refined, and delivered to maximize business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the VMS technical backlog, including new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and integration requests.
  • Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business need, technical feasibility, and strategic goals.
  • Work closely with IT, vendor teams, and MSP partners to ensure timely delivery and quality of VMS solutions.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews) and maintain transparency on progress and priorities.
  • Document requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria for VMS-related initiatives.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training, and change management for VMS releases.
  • Track and report on key metrics related to VMS support, ticket resolution, and technology roadmap.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VMS technical issues, enhancements, and roadmap discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of VMS platforms, contingent workforce processes, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and backlog management tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience with VMS implementations like Beeline or MSP programs.
  • Familiarity with integration projects, especially with HRIS or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
