As a Sales Representative, you will generate qualified prospects and leads as well as create strong and ongoing relationships with them to meet sales quotas and drive business growth.
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
Pipeline Creation & Sales Outreach
- Sales & Business Development. generate leads and qualify prospects through various outreach and inbound response tactics.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing deals and expanding the client base.
- Digital Channel and Customer Portal Champion as prioritize sales efforts with customers who value self-service, technology-enriched channels.
- Grow and expand customer use of the AMX shipping portal.
- Support AMX Chat as a Live Agent to triage visitors and help facilitate shipments when needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive retention and repeat business.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
- Utilize digital marketing channels and tactics to generate leads and engage prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop targeted campaigns.
- Assess the effectiveness of digital outreach efforts to optimize engagement and conversions.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Assist in developing sales strategies based on data analysis and market feedback.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of American Expediting's services and capabilities

Minimum requirements:
- Studies: A High School Degree is required. A Bachelor's degree is not required but is a plus. Desirable studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Finance, Logistics or any other related courses.
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in transportation/logistics, ideally B2B.
- Proven success in generating and qualifying leads and managing accounts. Comfortable cold prospecting for new business.
- Tools: Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and automation; comfortable with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and sales engagement platforms.
- Language: Advanced English and French skills.
