A Day in the Life
Join a dynamic team as a Writer/Storyteller - Sr. Specialist, where you'll help bring organizational stories to life through compelling, strategic content. You'll collaborate with colleagues across editorial, creative, and leadership functions to produce high-quality materials that support key objectives and enhance reputation.

This is a remote position; however, candidates will need to reside in Colombia to be considered.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Produce engaging written content across various formats, including long-form articles, news stories, social media posts, bylined pieces, internal communications, and more.
• Accept writing assignments from editorial and campaign leads, ensuring all deliverables meet established standards and strategic goals.
• Contribute to story development by suggesting new topics, perspectives, and voices that align with organizational priorities. Conduct interviews and gather insights from leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to enrich content.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop ideas for video and multimedia projects, including infographics.
• Adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and channels, ensuring content is modular, discoverable, and impactful.
• Participate in planning meetings and contribute to the ongoing evolution of organizational storytelling.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional writing experience, preferably in a corporate, agency, or newsroom environment.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling content for multiple platforms and audiences.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on a corporate content team or as a journalist at a digital-first media organization
• Experience with video ideation and scriptwriting.
• Knowledge of healthcare, technology, or related industries.
• Comfort working with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
• Familiar with writing in a regulated environment to ensure legal compliance through content review and validation.
• Experience interviewing, reporting, and story development.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
