The Role

We are looking for a proactive professional to drive the growth of our Music & Entertainment network. This is a hybrid role that combines Business Development (Sales) with Channel Management. You will be responsible for scouting and signing up for new high-performing YouTube channels while ensuring our existing network maintains "Tier A" compliance and operational excellence.

Note: While knowledge of Content ID is required to advise clients, technical dispute management is handled by a separate Digital Rights Management (DRM) division.

Key Objectives (Trial Period)

· Month 1: Secure at least five new YouTube channels (generating min. $3,000 USD/mo each) for the Entertainment and Music CMS.

· Months 2 & 3: Scale acquisition to 10 new channels per month while maintaining portfolio health.

· Ongoing: Maintain Tier A status in YouTube's pillar scores and ensure 100% database accuracy.

Responsibilities

1. Growth & Sales

· Identify and contact potential YouTube channels that meet Bquate's standards (revenue, compliance, viewership).

· Implement daily outreach strategies (emails, calls) to secure contracts with music labels and creators.

· Maintain an organized database of leads, tracking every contact attempt and status update until a response is received.

· Close deals and coordinate with the Legal department for contract drafting.

2. Channel Management

· Compliance: Monitor CMS health to prevent strikes and maintain "Tier A" status to avoid risks to the contract with YouTube.

· Operations: Ensure all Official Artist Channels (OAC) upload content monthly. If the artist does not upload, you are responsible for ensuring the content is submitted.

· Optimization: Analyze and refine titles, tags, descriptions, cards, and thumbnails to maximize revenue.

· Support: Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries regarding YouTube, coordinating with the DRM team for technical copyright issues.

3. Admin & Self-Development

· Create weekly reports for the General Manager, tracking outreach results and channel performance.

· Maintain active YouTube Certifications (company-sponsored) and stay updated on platform policies.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who fits ONE of the following two profiles:

Profile A: The YouTube Specialist (Tech & Sales)

· Experience managing YouTube channels (CMS or Studio) and Audience Growth strategies.

· Knowledge of monetization models, Content ID, and platform policies.

· Confident in analyzing data (YouTube Analytics) to demonstrate value to clients.

OR

Profile B: The Sales Pro (Organized & Autodidact)

· Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Customer Support.

· Highly Organized: Meticulous attention to detail for database and CRM management.

· Tech-Savvy: Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly. You must be willing to study and pass the YouTube Certifications within the first month.

Requirements (Must-Haves for Both Profiles)

· English: Advanced or Proficient (Written and Spoken).

· Excel: Intermediate skills (Pivot tables, formulas) for reporting and database management.

· Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, self-motivated, and able to work with aggressive monthly targets.
